Attached to its cage is a white sheet of paper with black pen stenciling, stating the animal's scientific name, sex, background, and disposition. He's trapped, and only the vials of liquid injected into his skin by the men in pristine white lab coats can tell this rat what he is, who he is, and what he can do.
